[It's fine. He practically flips over the couch but he holds himself up via flight, hovering enough to keep his mouth on Dave's and also not totally bite it. It's important, a milestone he subconsciously kept track of and something that almost means more to him than the day they officially started dating. He doesn't mind that Dave's response is a kiss...it's something he's grown used to now. He does break away though slowly and carefully, hands cupping Dave's face as he leans forward to peck his lips again.]

I think that's my line. [ dave can apparently still sound dazed after they kiss. that will never stop being a thing, maybe, because john never fails to feel like an adrenaline rush. ]

Well...have you been to that digital grid yet? One of the other stops on the train. We might have to travel separately but we can meet there and I'll explain everything from there. I have an idea.

Is that a threat or a promise? [He ducks his head under the ruffle and he laughs to himself.] Let's go then. The train station's not that far and the ride should be short.

It's a demand for bribery? I had something I wanted to try anyway. [ he doesn't clarify what so ig john just gets to wonder for the whole date?? ]

Uh. Should I be scared? [He's not, but he's pulling Dave up so they can get going.]

Only if you're not willing to experiment. [ this clarifies nothing. ]

I regret asking suddenly. [He grabs his keys and he hauls Dave out of the house and toward the car.] The train station in Viea Village isn't that far. Like. It's new and that alone is weird, but I'm just accepting everything at this point.

Whatever, you know you'll do it. [ dave lets himself be dragged and automatically waits for john to get the door as he keeps talking. ] Rolling with things is the best policy here.

After a while I think we all kind of got over thinking this place was weird. [He opens the door, ushers Dave in, and gets in himself to drive.] I've talked to a few people I haven't met before who seem to think the same thing.

I'm still not sure it compares to home, anyway.

I gave Eren Rose's walkthrough to read before we all got sucked into whatever this is, so I was re-reading it, too. You're right. Home was probably worse because we had people watching us constantly.

You mean besides the fact I didn't know I was into guys yet. [He shrugs.] He didn't say too much about it but I think that's because his world's pretty fucked up, too. Did you hear about what showed up recently?

It's Eren. It's weird for him, but he's handling it in his own Eren way. I think I'd be a little freaked out if I were him, too. Especially if I remembered I was a titan shifter.

[Driving, driving.] Makes me wonder what would happen if something like LOWAS or LOHAC showed up.

First of all, I would do anything for you. Second of all I am hoping it won't come to that but I will be prepared if I have to.
