I regret asking suddenly. [He grabs his keys and he hauls Dave out of the house and toward the car.] The train station in Viea Village isn't that far. Like. It's new and that alone is weird, but I'm just accepting everything at this point.

Whatever, you know you'll do it. [ dave lets himself be dragged and automatically waits for john to get the door as he keeps talking. ] Rolling with things is the best policy here.

After a while I think we all kind of got over thinking this place was weird. [He opens the door, ushers Dave in, and gets in himself to drive.] I've talked to a few people I haven't met before who seem to think the same thing.

I'm still not sure it compares to home, anyway.

I gave Eren Rose's walkthrough to read before we all got sucked into whatever this is, so I was re-reading it, too. You're right. Home was probably worse because we had people watching us constantly.

Oh, that makes more sense. [He looks proud though.] Minato's funny sometimes. And I don't know. Maybe it is a little cute to some people. I like having yours on me.

[ john gets an amused look. ] You're the only person I'm ever shirtless-shirtless around. And yeah, I like having your mark on me, too. It ain't like it doesn't exist even without the ink.

[Parking at the train station, John leans over the center console of his car to kiss Dave's cheek.]

You're right, but I like the physical reminder anyway.

I want a piggyback ride after you make me ride the train alone?

[He's just. Laughing.] Oh my god. Fine, sure, whatever. [He isn't too put out by it though and he takes Dave's hand once they're out of the car and leads him to the trains.]

[ a small sigh and he drags john's hand up to kiss his wrist before dropping the hand. ] Fine, okay. I'll see you soon, babe.

[Too bad kissing Dave's chest in public would be weird, so he grins and waves.] See you soon.

[And he's off to board the Beta train, hoping that Dave catches the Alpha train and meets up with him in the digital scape.]
