[When Dave arrives in the kitchen he'll find John already moving to grab some things like bowls, powders,oils, eggs, etc. He's still in his hoodie and shivering just a little since the change in temperature is jarring but he's quickly warming up and starting to measure things out. Hearing Dave enter the kitchen, he turns to give him another grin.]

Yeah, that, too. Dad was always good at figuring out how to mix stuff into new recipes. Before I started working at Nanna's bakery he taught me everything at home. Apples were easy since the pricing on them in the state was pretty good compared to other fruits.
