[Maybe John should notice that this is a little more intense than it should be, but he doesn't say anything about it. He's grown used to Dave being clingy and he's grown used to having weird conversations such as allowing Dave to eat his insides.

Yes. [He'd argue about the circular argument but he's too tired.] I promise they're really, really good pancakes...will you at least try them? [Look it hasn't even been 24 hours since he fought with him about eating half of a waffle.]

They're apple pancakes. [ SO APPARENTLY HE WILL JUST EAT THEM...WITHOUT AN ARGUMENT... ]

Apple cinnamon. [It's a casual reminder and he finally pulls away to reheat the pancakes.] I'm thinking breakfast and then maybe back to bed for a few hours unless you have a better idea.

I was not, you are correct. [Pancakes are reheated though and he turns to hand him the plate again with the syrup and a fork.] I haven't woken up this early since spring semester of my senior year.

Training! I used to get up and go running before I had to get ready for school. My sleeping schedule was sort of a mess on the weekends but it worked out.

I am pretty sure I actually agreed to maybe go runnin' in the mornings sometimes.
