[ okay, okay. dave answers, leaning against the door frame and - well. it's dave. he's dressed up a little? nicer black skinny jeans than his daily wear and nice shoes and a sweater. and john's jacket. his camera bag is in easy view.

[Is he in his wiseguy suit? Yeah, he sure is. He's also wearing a different jacket though and it takes a few seconds before he reaches inside the trick pocket of his suit and produces a bouquet of red-candy-decorated caramel apples to hand over instead of flowers.]

can't believe john got him a candy apple bouquet. how long did it take him to think of that one? the bouquet disappears into his sylladex so dave can lean down to kiss john briefly. ]

Of course not, I like your ass too much. [At least he's honest. He's happy with his bouquet, thanks, and he meets Dave for the kiss before looping his arm through Dave's.]

I am hoping to stay there, yes. We're going to go on an adventure. [He pauses for a moment.] Do you wanna drive if I navigate?

I'll drive if you want? I got no preference. [ he's happy either way since john seems perfectly unimpaired. dave usually only insists if john seems tired or otherwise under the weather. ]

It might be even more of a surprise if you do? And I already told you I trust you driving Casey. [...] The car, not the lizard. God, do I have to rename my car?

D'you wanna? I mean, we can just specify car casey. [ he holds a hand out for the keys ]

[...shrug.] Nah. I think we can both know that you won't be driving our lizard daughter anytime soon. [He hands Dave the keys though and leads him to the car, opening the driver's door for Dave anyway.]

Children before marriage. D'you think society will shun us? [ dave takes the keys and after the car is unlocked slides into the drivers seat, reaching over to pop he passenger door on automatic. ]

Probably no more than society's going to shun me for kidnapping both of our daughters in the first place. [Passenger's seat is a go.] Head east toward Apprassage, I'll navigate you from there.

[ dave casually follows directions. ] I think you maybe have a problem with kidnapping. As in, you seem to have done it a lot?

That is entirely possible since I also just kidnapped you. [Just saying.]
