They'll get used to it, maybe, but it's pretty much a good start. He stays there for a touch too long before he pulls away and moves so Dave can return to the cozy little pocket he's made for himself at John's side.]

dave probably isn't as nervous about this as john is, in terms of kissing. he's also tired, which helps, but there's just no desire to do anything other than the brief kiss because john's awkward about it and dave won't press his luck and he's blearily content with what he's managed to get.

there's pretty much zero chance he isn't going to just doze off on john at this point. he's better about staying up for their activities when he actually like
