Hehe. [But okay, sure, he'll stop looping and settle to let Dave hold his hand? Or he's holding Dave's hand? It's hard to say but it's fine since he'll stop even with the flurries seemingly swirling around him.] Sorry. Better?

Are you doing that on purpose? [ he doesn't clarify but he left his left hand free for a reason; it's a little awkward, but he's capable of using his camera one handed, and automatically he snaps another picture of john.

Doing what? [He blinks in surprise after the fact because okay hi Dave, this isn't taking pictures of winter stuff this is taking pictures of John.]

[ dave tilts the camera to john so he can see the digital screen. dave’s hand holding john’s is in the shot but he means the flurries swirling around him, snow caught in air drafts. ]

[Give him a second to review the shot, a little focused on their adjoined hands before he looks at the snow instead and shakes his head.]

No. I can't do anything with my aspect yet except for like...kind of feel it.

It’s a good shot anyway. [ he smiles at the camera instead of john, tilting it a little awkward to keep the picture. after a second, though, he starts to skate, turning to go backwards so he can drag john along. ]

Now I kinda wanna do a dumb video tape though.

You aren't a bad photographer, dude. [He doesn't try to pull away from Dave's grip and he starts to skate instead of letting himself be fully dragged. But he's still letting Dave pull so that they can face each other.]

Can your camera even do video? Or just your phone?

No, but my video camera can? If you’re chill with that. It would be easier.

[ he could just drop john’s hand ]

...[Hm.] Yeah, I guess that's fine. [He doesn't mind the handholding, really, but he doesn't think on that.] What exactly do you have in mind though just videoing whatever?

Okay, just...give me a second. [ he drops john’s hand and tosses the camera in his sylladex and seconds later pulls out the video camera he stuffed in there as well. that gets slid on over his left hand, the strap secure as he powers it up and messes with settings, still absent mindedly skating, but after that his right hand grabs john’s again and he adjusts the view. ]

So, John Egbert. What would you do with a million dollars?

[He lingers close by and keeps his balance up, letting Dave take his hand again and squinting a little at the camera even as the snow falls.]

Is that the first interview question of the day? [He's snickering anyway.] God, I don't know. A lot of things? A vacation is up there but so is making sure Nanna was set up to retire comfortably.

[ dave’s fingers are cold but they’re firmly wrapped around john’s hand. ]

[Asking him not to think while this is happening is a little overcomplicated, but he can manage. So. He skates along with his hand in Dave's and says what comes to mind.]

Somewhere warm, maybe. Or somewhere in Europe. Both places seem cool for different reasons.

Europe has lots of places with a lot of history, but I'm somehow not sure that's part of your reasons? You're not one for museums, I'm pretty sure.

Nope! It would mostly be for the food and atmosphere. [Thanks John.] It seems like a fun place to tour because it's so different from here. That is why I want to go. Otherwise I'd just go to like Hawaii or something.

I can't believe you could go to Europe and not see, like...the Parthenon, St. Mark's Basilica, the Globe. The Louvre? There's so much stuff.

I never said I wouldn’t see those things, you know. I would still like to since they are classics. But I would also go just to meet people and experience life there for a while.

I strongly suspect you'd get bored at the Louvre.

Isn't the Louvre that huge art museum? I might, but at least I could check it out for a little while. I think experiencing life is just being an active part of it. Trying things. Engaging with people? The little things that make up a bigger picture.
