I think like might be a little subjective, but we get along okay. But my point stands. I remember him yelling and now he does not. I'm sure there are other differences if we think about them, too.
I mean, there is also the fact he calmed down like that back then, too. I mean...he was easy to piss off, but he chills the fuck out if he's not in a life or death situation and when he...steps off the control wagon, whatever.

We all grew up I guess. Anyway, no more Karkat talk. I love the snow and I love winter but I am actually sort of looking forward to the rest of the day. I like watching from the inside, too.

Yeah. That's a good plan to me. [And so he drives to the dorm and they make their way inside up to their room where John sets the soup on one of the desks and hunts down the DVD, leaving Dave to decide where he wants to nest and what he wants to do.]
[ DECISIONS - but dave doesn't dither as much as he sometimes can. it's more routine than it isn't now and he will change to stay in for the rest of the day and perch on a computer chair to eat the soup, because eating soup in bed sounds dumb.
whenever he finishes that, though, he'll either pick whichever bed john ends up on to sit on or just drop onto john's bed, so there's that. movie day. ]
[Movie day. Once Dave finishes his soup he can join John on his bed and he'll comfortably drape blankets over them so they can watch movies for the rest of the afternoon and not think about anything too serious. Eventually John might doze off? But otherwise he's content for the rest of the day.]
