like i said my tastes run to the eclectic
though if i had to pick a favorite genre itd be like
well rap obviously is a cool thing but i like instrumental tracks?

Ugh, rap. The closest I ever get to that is Linkin Park. They're the only kind of rap worth listening to.

i think youre thinking all rap is ONLY this one specific type of song maybe
which isnt true of any genre of music really
theyre pretty varied and wide
if you look hard enough you can find at least one song you like in any subset of music

it has to have a certain flow
rhyme and rhythm
those are the parts that matter most
and of course the beat

god maybe im not awake enough to explain
theres a beat and rhyme and a scheme to it
other music mixes and matches rhyme sometimes and has a flow but like
not the distinct version rap does?

So basically it's just regular music but with the drums pumped up on steroids.
