I seriously don't care if you cop a feel. [ kinda hard to do like this though so he flips them. again. and rests his weight on his hands to either side of john's arms, raising one eyebrow. ]

[His response is a laugh.] You are ridiculous...[But there's a kiss before he settles for just looking at him, letting his hands move on their own accord to rest at the small of Dave's back.

...it takes some working up to, but slowly but surely a hand moves further and he makes good on his promise and cups part of his ass. That wasn't so hard, was it?]

[ better than dave who chickened out that one time. he knows john can stop him flipping them if he really cares unless dave manages to surprise him, so he doubts john gives a fuck what he does. instead of answering he lets himself settle against john more, pinning him without really pinning him, and leans down to kiss him again.

his teeth scrape over john's lower lip and it's a little more serious than it was. not desperate still, but firmer and more of a demand. ]

[The hand's a little firmer once Dave doesn't immediately flip out, fingers kneading a bit as he opens his mouth wider and mumbles incoherently against Dave's teeth. Apparently that part is nice and he likes that. He turns just slightly to make the angle of his neck a little less strained, leaning up to keep himself as close as possible.]

[ he definitely doesn't have to lean up?? dave presses him back down into the mattress and lets john take all his weight. whatever. it's not like john can't toss him off if need be? he's laughing and drawing back from john's mouth for a second, though. ] Are you talking?

[windeity]

[He's not close to tossing him anywhere and he leans into the mattress to take Dave's weight with him. There's another semi-rough kiss before he shakes his head while Dave pulls away.]

Nothing important...do you want me to be?

Usually, but not right now. I can think of like ten other ways you should be usin' your mouth.

[ number one is going back to kissing him roughly. which dave will just...take the lead on, here. ]

[He was about to be a shithead and challenge Dave to name all ten, but he doesn't get too far given Dave's suddenly kissing him again.

It's fine. He's certainly not complaining. Instead he's leaving little argument and decides holding back isn't something he's interested in, more likely to use his tongue rather than his teeth given...he's still a little wary of his own teeth. But it's not so much exploratory as it is demanding and one hand slides back up to Dave's hair to hold his head closer.]

[ at least dave has never seemed to mind the use of teeth? he doesn't care if john focuses on tongue either though and he's more focused on john inching closer to demanding. he's still not flipping out. neither of them is flipping out and there's a happy little hum as his fingernails drag down john's left side. sorry john. ]

[It's fine? This is fine. Dave reacts openly to John playing with his nipples and John reacts to fingernails over his side given there's a surprised, low groan against Dave's mouth and a sharp twitch of a shiver. So that's a thing. It's not a bad reaction given he's not pushing Dave away but he does shift his legs enough to wind and trap Dave from moving away from him.]

[ thankfully dave had zero intention of moving away. mostly. he pulls away from kissing john long enough to drag his other hand down john's side, fingernails catching and gaze too intent, pupils blown wide and focused entirely on his boyfriend. ]

[Why!! It's the combination of Dave's hands and also his stupid eyes that's getting to him and he's trying to catch his breath a little while squirming under Dave's hands.]

I think...you just like touching me whenever you can.

[parodeity]

Yeah. [ he admits if without even thinking about it, letting his fingers dig into john's hip. ] But you like it when I do.

[ it's not quite a question but more a sort of tentatively exhilarated and wondering statement. ]

[windeity]

Yeah...I like it a lot. [A hand comes up to run through Dave's hair.] You should maybe consider doing it more often. I am just saying.

[parodeity]

Have I been neglectin' you somehow? [ there's faint amusement at the corners of dave's mouth, his eyes going soft and half lidded in the prelude to a smile. it's a comfortable expression and he feels comfortable with john. there are months of the casual domestic intimacy, quiet and safe and warm, backed by years of remembered friendship. this kind of moment has existed before too but dave hasn't always been the best at dealing with it. he'd dumped john off his lap the one time john had rolled his hips and he'd stopped john pulling off his shirt and he'd drawn lines where he needed them. ] I like you like this.

[ fingers trace up to john's face. no glasses. ]

Like, never get contacts, but I like seein' you like this. It feels special.

Under you? [He snorts a little.] I would not call it neglect but I am of the opinion that it is very important to appreciate things. [He pokes Dave's cheek gently.] Appreciate me.

[But there's a matching grin even while his legs are tangled with Dave's to hold him still.]

I have contacts, actually. I just never wear them anymore since I quit playing baseball. Otherwise you are the only one who gets this view.

Under me, over me, across the room. Don't care. This just feels, I dunno, intimate. [ a special view. kind of like how dave's eyes are pretty exclusive. he's had his shades off since earlier and so it's obvious where he's looking and when. he's locked onto john's eyes right now. ] How d'you want me to appreciate you?

[windeity]

[He hates it, thanks. And by hate it I mean that Dave shadeless is probably just as much of a turn-on as Dave shirtless, so he's a little dazed and lovedrunk and focused on staring right back.]

...just keep touching me? [It's a little bit of a curious question, but. He would like that, thank you.] Stay where I can see you.

Like I could move. [ he shifts, though, a sort of demonstration, but john has his legs tangled and dave has never won a wrestling match against his boyfriend for more reasons than distraction. if john wants him pinned, john can pin dave above or under him because he's stronger. and dave doesn't mind enough to cheat with time travel.

dave bites his lip and experimentally does what john did back in february: he rolls his hips down into john's and doesn't flip out. ] Or maybe I can a little bit.

[windeity]

[There's a sound that can only be described as approval caught somewhere in his throat as his hands loop over Dave's lower back to pull him closer.]

I think you can and I am pretty sure I would let you. [He pauses for a second.] ...do that again?
