I always think it's slightly cheating using ours as an example. At least when I listen to other people talk about theirs it's like, "Well this is fucked up and weird, but I can follow the logical pattern behind it."

[ hmm. it's not really something he considered before, mostly because for the most part their relationship mostly consisted of them arguing, and karkat didn't even really notice when that stopped and it turned into them actually getting along even if they're still trying to find their footing here. ]
