I heard about the post, yeah. Lobsters live for a while I think so at least he will be decent company. [He moves his finger across the glass to see if Nauti follows. Poor Nauti.]

[He finally leaves the lobster tank, floating over to Dave's chair and leaning over the back of it to look down at him and his laptop.]

[ he's...bored and lonely and that has always translated into dumbass comics. it's the language of a kid who swallowed every other kind of word to describe it. dave doesn't tense up or shift when john floats his ass over, just kind of glances before returning to his desecration of art. ]

And let me know if you manage to attain lobster-tier and I'll reconsider the bff slot thing? There are things only a lobster can do for a dude, y'know? Like sing about staying under the sea and shit.

That is a crab, Dave. Lobsters I think are just kind of the mascot of a bunch of shitty chain restaurants. [He does watch the screen though because he's never seen Dave work.] I cannot sing under the sea but I can probably play piano better than a lobster.

also dave appears to be doing a sort of weird ass comic about hallways and darkness, so where's the joke. there's lots of bad art and he seems to c/p shit a lot and also make things worse on purpose. ]

My piano is in my 'dex. [Casually. He watches before he leans forward, using his finger to point at something on the screen.] Artifact that part.

punchline wise it...has the feel of that one halloween comic, maybe. it's just frustration in the form of a hard to understand joke. ]

Our house was going to maybe sink if I kept it out. [Shrug. He still watches over Dave's shoulder and he doesn't know what to make of it.]

What other comics have you made since we got here?

Yeah, I know. Okuyasu complained once or twice. Is it safe in there though? And you can check the image files if you want. I just haven't been posting them.

I want to see the image files, yeah. [He doesn't answer about the piano right away.] It should be fine.

Yeah mostly. Trust me, the piano is really safe! I would be really pissed if it flew out of my dex so I made sure it was safe.

Made sure how? Did you swaddle it in blankets? Or put it in a card and then captchalogue that card?
