Your answer wasn't bad either, though. [ he's flushed a little bit whatever! it's enough of an explanation to drag john into the tattoo parlor with. ]

[Off they go!! And it's...a ridiculously easy process to answer the questions, fill out the paperwork and explain the designs.]

Two by one will fit on my wrist. I guess you could get something bigger on your chest but it's up to you.

[He reaches up to trace the Breath symbol over Dave's chest.] Two by two might work, babe. It's really up to you? [A shrug. Someday it will hit them this is a really, really stupid idea but currently he doesn't think it's stupid at all and he regrets nothing.]

Regardless, it's a few hours later, maybe, by the time they're both squared away. There's a patch covering John's wrist to protect the new tattoo and he waits for Dave to finish paying for them before he grabs for him again.]

Not nearly this intensive. [But he looks pleased and motions for Dave to follow.] We're making another field trip. [The door's held open for him and once Dave is situated, he gets in the car and begins to drive.]
