[One of the other things about dating is learning how the other person operates. One of the benefits of Dave is that John's been in his space for the last four months and has picked up on habits, such as never finishing big meals. It's accommodation and compromise and neither of those are bad for him.

Yeah! Kind of? School is school but I think this semester will actually be better? It will make a lot more sense than last semester. Plus we have a class together and I have some projects I can work on. It will be nice to have something to focus on.

I can't decide if I'm excited or if I'm horrified. But sure, sounds cool. I like seeing what you come up with and Minato's kind of weird but he's nice enough.

Maybe a little excited. [He stops to think about that though.] I met this kid a little while ago. Name's Gar. Seems really invested in the idea of superpowers so I showed him I could fly. One of the newbies on the app from the last batch so I figured it would help ease up when everything else starts to hit. I think I've just been working on getting to know people better? I've been here for a while now but there's still a lot left to learn about them.

I like that you are. [ excited. interested. dave doesn’t know how to explain so he just moves on, listening. ] I don’t think I’ve talked to him. I do talk to a few every time, and sometimes I offer to show ‘em shit or just get to squabbling about time travel. I think there’s always room to get to know everyone better though.

[Cute...] Pretty sure he's one of the younger high school kids but yeah. I try to talk to a few people at least on that first post they always like to give us for the same reason. Trying to make sure things are good. A few people know about the windy thing now but I'm still getting the hang of it.

Oh, and Eleanor might hit you up for another Q&A on time travel just a heads up. [Since we're talking about getting to know people better.] I like meeting new people even if I always don't, so learning new things about the people I know is a compromise.

Mostly about possibilities and impossibilities. I told her to be a little more open-minded about it when asking since it's probably annoying to go in circles about what is and isn't possible. [He shifts to match Dave's stance, chin resting on his hand and elbow on the table.]

Eleanor and I talk about a lot, I guess.

She’s easy to talk about serious stuff with. We spin our wheels about philosophy sometimes too. Or end up teasing. Or both.

She's really smart and she's actually pretty good about asking questions. I am somehow not surprised...she and Yukiko are some of my favorite people. Which by the way we're supposed to probably do dinner with them to celebrate taste mostly being back. I think Yukiko said something about barbecue? And I think I want to introduce them to Natalie.

That could be fun if we did it inside. Might be a bit gloomy out. [ it’s not dark Yet... ] Nat’d like them, I think, so it ain’t a bad idea.

I think so, too. Natalie gets along with most people I think and I already told her I'd like to introduce all of them. Even if it's gloomy...I don't know, Natalie suggested bowling.
