You don't hesitate with monsters. [There's a sigh into Dave's chest.] Soon. And laser tag with Natalie sometime during break, I already asked her. [A beat.] It's cold.

I got you one, you chose not to change into it. [ but he eases john off of him so he can retrieve it for john anyway? ]

Because lifting my arms kind of hurts, shut up. [But he's smirking a little anyway before he rolls to let Dave up. Once the shirt's retrieved he'll slowly sit up to slip into it before he kicks at their covers.]

Poor baby. [ but despite the slightly mocking tone he's gentle when he gets back into bed, helping shift the covers up and over them. he's almost weirdly cautious, except he's never actually rough with john so maybe it's not that weird after all. ]
