I got you one, you chose not to change into it. [ but he eases john off of him so he can retrieve it for john anyway? ]

Because lifting my arms kind of hurts, shut up. [But he's smirking a little anyway before he rolls to let Dave up. Once the shirt's retrieved he'll slowly sit up to slip into it before he kicks at their covers.]

Poor baby. [ but despite the slightly mocking tone he's gentle when he gets back into bed, helping shift the covers up and over them. he's almost weirdly cautious, except he's never actually rough with john so maybe it's not that weird after all. ]

[He sticks his tongue out before he wriggles into his shirt and immediately flops onto Dave's chest again even once they're under the covers.]

Whatever, no one said you had to say. [Other than John's immediately winding an arm around Dave's waist to make sure he can't leave.]

Want me to go? [ he makes no move to do so but he's apparently just going to say it even as he starts running his hand through john's hair again. ]

Yes, obviously. [He pushes into Dave's hand again and remains curled under the blankets.] Sorry today is going to be a boring afternoon.

Not yet. [And it's weirdly serious and maybe something that doesn't involve Dave specifically that John won't talk about right now.] Can't get bored with you either. And I sleep more than you do, thanks.
