Man, how could you be so cruel to poison us when one of us is already down? [But he's giving a lopsided grin as he thinks on that.]
We have our weapons--well, Dave and I do--but a backpack should work for just about everything else I think? When I was grabbing stuff from the forest and the mansion everything could fit in my hands. And a backpack would be pretty hard to misplace.
Please, if I was gonna take y'all out you'd be taken out. [ having said so dave will start eating, though, having been reminded about the food. he's not too quick about it, but. ] Also, what riches? John's Chinese finger trap isn't worth murder. Full offense, John. Also a backpack sounds good then? Might be easiest to stitch yourself somethin' to make you sew or whatever fast first. I can do you up a sewin' kit.
So you claim. [ dave you're not an assassin. ] Perhaps like the Countess Elizabeth Bathory, you'd kill us for our blood. To drink or bathe in, whichever.
[ SAID CASUALLY, AS SHE EATS ]
I have wanted to see if my powers extend to other forms of needlework beyond knitting. [ since she HASN'T TESTED THAT YET, DAVE ]
[He reaches out to nudge at Dave's shin with his foot. Jerk.]
I don't want anyone to bathe in my blood though. [Why are his friends stupid. But he's keeping up with the conversation and at least seems more like himself than the night before.] That would be really sweet if you could do, like, sewing and crochet and like. Whatever other kind of needlework there is. What other needlework exists besides that?
[Hmmm.] I want to know how far our powers really stretch here. I have ideas, too.
The phrase "I have ideas" comin' from you seriously worries me.
[ SAID AS HE POINTS HIS SPOON AT JOHN before taking another bite of his oatmeal. ]
But yeah, we should learn how to use and abuse our shit, since they locked us out of the usual stuff...at least our combat skills are pretty much untouched.
Don't be selfish, John. Share your youth. [ re: blood bathing. ]
Sewing, crochet... embroidery? Cross-stitch. Needlepoint. Maybe others. [ she's not a total expert. kanaya would probably know more about certain areas, fabric-wise. ]
Agreed. On both learning and being worried about John's ideas.
I don't want to share my youth either. [But he's leaning back against Rose's bed and stirring his food again.] I will leave all of the needle stuff to you then. But my ideas aren't that bad! At least...not for this. I was thinking...I don't think I have a size limit on what I can bind together. And someone else brought it up when I was talking to him last night, and I really think this might work? But I was thinking of trying to fuse the huts together to make a bigger living space or something. Not sure how yet, but it is a thought I had.
[A pause.] But yeah we can still fight so that is something.
I don't want to bathe in John's blood, feel free to not share it John. But okay, that sounds like a thing that could be done...although maybe practice on some empty ones before ours?
