WEEK TWO: SUNDAY AFTERNOON, ROOM 106

[ so after the execution they'll meet up in clementine and emily's room again. dave once again takes a seat by violet on the couch, although this week he is more. neutral? than last week. quieter. whatever.

still, once everyone is settled, he does speak. ]

Last week I ended up goin' into the Library. Pried some of the boards back from the unmarked buildin' and saw inside. Got some books, also saw a huge monster inside. [ he will at least toss out the books they got: mostly science and math shit, but also other things. yay. ] Also went into the buildin' next door to this one. It was a pet shop, there were monsters, I don't recommend it.

[ in the same monotone, as he glances around: ] Not sure what I'm doin' this week. What'd everyone else learn?

She nods in affirmation.] Sorry. Who should I talk to this time? I pick someone on Tuesday, but I talk to them on Wednesday.

Well...Omega might not be a bad call? We don't know what went down with her. And whoever you do talk to, they'll probably have...talked to everyone else in the inbetween place by then? Maybe.

[empireofrats]

[She nods; it's less agreement and more another affirmation.]

Maybe we can find the Ghost. But if we find them... then what do we do?

...Well, take 'em out before they take other people out, probably, or just...give their name to someone else.

Okay. So I should talk to Omega? What... questions should I ask? I asked all I could last time, but... [She looks at the notebook. Apparently, it didn't feel like it went so well.]

Unless you change your mind? Like...we at least know she might give us more answers than, say, Kamui. But you did real well this week, kiddo. We knew Hana and Jay wouldn't know much.

[empireofrats]

[It makes her feel a little better, so she partially smiles. After a moment, she brings the notebook and pen up. In a bubble by Jason's head, she writes, Sorry.]

As long as you're sure. You got nothin' to be sorry about. Jay doesn't either. You were super brave, okay?

[With an "mm," she nods understandingly.]

Are you okay, Dave? You and Dirk went in the building. And you said you saw some monsters. Were they scary?

[parodeity]

Not really. I mean, I guess they were - but I've known worse fear. So. Comparatively not so bad?

[empireofrats]

[A small smile appears.]

You're really brave. When I get older, I'm going to be brave like you. And I'll fight scary sea monsters and say, "I've known worse fear."

[parodeity]

[ he ruffles her hair. ]
