[ so after the execution they'll meet up in clementine and emily's room again. dave once again takes a seat by violet on the couch, although this week he is more. neutral? than last week. quieter. whatever.

still, once everyone is settled, he does speak. ]

Last week I ended up goin' into the Library. Pried some of the boards back from the unmarked buildin' and saw inside. Got some books, also saw a huge monster inside. [ he will at least toss out the books they got: mostly science and math shit, but also other things. yay. ] Also went into the buildin' next door to this one. It was a pet shop, there were monsters, I don't recommend it.

[ in the same monotone, as he glances around: ] Not sure what I'm doin' this week. What'd everyone else learn?

It seems like that'll be the best use anyone will get out of it.

How do, uh... You feel about people claiming your role?

[inventurous]

I'm not sure what to make of strangers claiming it, but... I guess I'm glad someone found a use for it? There's not exactly much I can do with it, besides, well.

[ well die and take out the killer apparently except then there'd. still be a trial for everyone else so welp. ]

It would be interesting to see how Akane'd react if you told her you were bomber.

But not worth the danger that'd put you in.

It would be. But she might react badly, if she's certain someone else is.

It is, but it's also worth keepin' in mind she's probably trustin' someone we should keep tabs on.

But do you think that you can get her to tattle on them so we know who it is?

[parodeity]

[ he shakes his head. ]

If I can get anyone to fess up, it'd be Kaito and maybe Velvet, in a long shot. Akane I don't know well enough right now to get her to flip on someone she presumably has built up trust with.

Huh. Maybe we just keep an eye on who she talks to the most...?

I don't know. They could just be hiding their role because it's got a weapon and they don't want to look dangerous when they really aren't.

Yeah, pretty much. Bomber's easiest to claim because how could you even prove you are or aren't until you die. I mostly thought it worth notin' as like "hey, someone is lyin' to her and we should be aware, probably".

[willremember]

Right... I think now that the menu is out, people will probably lie about a lot of roles.

[parodeity]

Yeah, no lie. Lyin' about item and weapon roles will be harder, though. Because if you tell, you can see shit - but only people with other item or weapon roles - which are the majority - will be able to know that?

[willremember]

You would have to be sure that the person you're talking to doesn't have an item role and hasn't been told that rule.

I get why Bomber is so popular a cover story.

Basically, yeah. I think anyone with a weapon or item can guess the invisible rules apply to everyone, regarding, like...telling people what you got. All the rules for that sort of thing I've heard have been pretty explicit that if you role reveal, your whatever ain't invisible anymore.

[ so the only people who don't know that have skill roles and don't talk to people with the other roles. ]

I'm not sure if I'm glad or not that the items can't be shared or taken over when someone dies. It would be nice to guarantee we could keep things from our group - no matter what happens.

... But I wouldn't want all those weapons floating around, either.
