[ it doesn't exactly throw him off but he doesn't dodge and there's a minor wince as he blocks. ] So what're you considering?

Does that count as a point for me? [He's trying not to clobber Dave but also. Hammer.] And for what?

Nope. [ he blocked. he apparently doesn't mind getting clobbered? ] And if you manage three before me.

[windeity]

Damn it. [But he's bouncing back out of the way, finding himself floating a little and forcing himself back onto the ground.] And I don't know. I haven't really thought about it. Have you?

I can think of somethin'. [ it's probably dumb ]

[windeity]

No hints huh? [The hammer arches in another overhead swing to try and pound down.]

[parodeity]

Wouldn't want to get you all interested and then lose? [ he jumps to the side as his eyebrows wing up though ]

[windeity]

That's funny. The game's not over yet, asshole. [But there's a grin as he immediately follows through with the swing, moving to the side to follow Dave's movements.]

anyway he runs at john with no warning to try to slide his blade under the hammer's handle? ]

[Never, apparently, and there's a startled yelp as the blade almost yanks the hammer out of his hands.]

Cheater. [Solely because of his speed but he manages to be a good sport, hooking his hammer back and gripping the handle again.]

We made zero rules about disarming. [ dave grins, crooked. ]

[windeity]

I keep forgetting I have to set rules with you. [The crooked grin is met with a smirk as he steps back to get ready for round three.] Ready? [And back he goes with another dive straight at him, lunging forward with said-hammer.]

[parodeity]

Some things I won't cheat on. [ tho in a fight yeah sucks to be you john? dave tries to block this time and slide his sword up the handle again as he does, once again trying to disarm ]

[windeity]

[He thinks to say "don't cheat on me and we'll be fine" but it's a fleeting thought, and Dave's Dave. Still, he's prepared this time and he immediately backs off to rotate, trying to step behind Dave to bring the hammer in for another swing.]

[parodeity]

[ john is one of the things he won't cheat on. dave slides his sword behind him without looking to try to block the hammer blow, which is unintentionally reminiscent of how he blocked strikes from behind in that memory. ]

[windeity]

[The good thing about Zillyhoo is that there are weird hooks on the hammer itself, so he's twisting the weapon in his hand to try and dislodge the sword from Dave's hand, hooking a portion of the hammer on the blade and tugging.]

[parodeity]

[ he can just about handle john hitting his blade with a hammer but can't do it without a wince and some effort. john pulling his sword away is harder to dodge and dave lets go before darting after the blade when it flies. ]

[windeity]

[He lets up then, a little concerned about the wincing and waiting for Dave to grab his sword again.]

Are you okay?

[parodeity]

Yep. One-one. [ he catches the sword easy enough. ] C'mon.

[windeity]

Come at me? I need to work on my blocking.

[parodeity]

You're so needy??? [ but mid sentence he blurs and slams his blade at john's flank without warning.

dave will still stop before hitting if it comes to that ever. ]

[windeity]

[Speed surprises him again and he's offguard, trying to block and immediately jumping to try and dodge. It probably doesn't work.]

[parodeity]

[ another flickering happy grin. ] Two to one.

[windeity]

[He rolls his eyes and steps back again.] You have a speed advantage which is totally unfair. But yeah, two to one. Round four?

Says the guy with a strength advantage?
