I thought they were quite sweet. They haven't attacked me thus fair, which is a bonus. And it's clever how aspects of the plant it's made from have been crafted to look like the animal in question.

All they've done so far as I've seen is like...follow people around.

[ but they have done a lot without kissing so time for that song to start being squeaked, maybe ]

... Looking at it again, they almost look as though they are meant to be made of mistletoe. Perhaps they are hitting on us.

I mean, it sure is mood music? Unless they are tryin' to get people to hit on one another, I don't get their angle. [ ... ] Actually, if that is their angle I still don't get their angle?

I'm not sure they had an angle...

[ he's squinting at them again, but not with the eyes of an artist this time around. ]

Surely there's a health warning to kissing mistletoe bats. Isn't mistletoe poisonous?

I mean, I think you have to ingest it for it to do real damage?

What if it moves when I'm trying to kiss it and I accidentally consume one of the berries?

I mean, you could just let it follow you around forever, also. They might not be bad company?

True, but what if they call friends. I don't want to become a human plant... it would make painting very difficult.

[ Okay. He's.... he's got this. He holds up the little bat that has become his new best friend and...

Attempting to deliver affection directly to the bat did not work, so perhaps...

[ IN WHICH CASE they can just have bat friends forever, since that's not a huge setback, maybe ]

No, I'm not opposed. If it prevents us being swarmed, then it is worth attempting.

I don't suppose they indicate what appeases them? There are multiple types of kisses from what I am aware of.

That would be rather forward if we did. But yes, I would be comfortable with that.

[ At this point if it gives them some peace from the Christmas music, then it's a battle well won. ]

I have no experience either way.
