Really? I haven't experienced too much of the way of a complications in friendship.
If you're honest with your friends, and they are honest with you, a lot of things can be overcome.

But we are individuals, after all. The same thing can't be applied to every person. Perhaps I have just been abnormally lucky.

as in
sometimes i do not adhere to it
but i try to more or less be a good person

i think its less about luck
and more about getting out what you put in maybe?
you seem like a pretty good friend to me

[But... trying to be a good person is all most people can try to do. Some manage, others don't, but the intention is an important starting point.]

I feel it might be more a case of having more time to devote to less people. Fewer but more precious friends works better for me, I find.
