Do you mind running this back to Anya? I kind of walked off with it without... thinking.
[ it won't take him any time at all, because he's...super speedy and has time travel...
...mostly it's the time travel. but dave takes the jacket and lets it fall into his sylladex. which means it just disappears. he uses the sylladex frequently so yuri is probably used to dave picking up items and them just going into hammerspace???
( is his near automatic response, and it's true, but he's also a filthy layering person himself. besides, it's not that he doesn't want to see her, but he isn't ready to answer and he wants at least the day and the next to think things over. keeping Anya's coat that long because he's working through things just sounds rude.
the hammerspace thing is still cool and also freaky, but the kind of freaky that is in fact awesome. so Yuri loves it. of course. )
Hopefully she's hanging out with people tonight.
( he says, sighing as he does, pushing his hand through his bangs and holding them back off his face. now he looks troubled, shaking it off after a moment. there's more he'll find himself needing to talk about with Dave when they're home, but... right now they're not. he closes his eyes. one day they may even be GREEN AGAIN, but in the meantime everyone is a grey eyed monster and i love that. truthiness. i think. LOOK IM TIRED )

And it's Anya, dude. You and I both know she knows the entire damn city, and she ain't a loner. I'm pretty sure she'll have someone to chat with. [ ...and, really, she'd asked dave to be there for yuri whenever this happened. because yuri has only so many friends.
