it was at the beach a couple weeks ago, i had to run a bullshit lemonade stand
obviously i had to give it my all so there i am slaving away over a pitcher of water and my own juicer cutting up lemons and i cut my finger
all around me, dancing asshole lemons, laughing
waiting for me to make the mistake of trying to move everything so i could get up and getting lemon juice in the cut in the process
that's when emil showed up
hair sparkling in the sun like some kind of shirtless fabio on a harlequin romance if fabio was shorter and paler and less built
and without a word he grabbed my hand and wrapped his golden locks around the cut and said something i don't understand, i don't speak swedish
and then my finger was whole and protected against lemon juice again
it was a goddamn miracle
