WEEK ONE: SUNDAY AFTERNOON, ROOM 106

[ dave dropped violet off a little earlier at the room, then went off to haul dirk back to 106, so when he steps back into the room - knocking and being let in, presumably - it's with. the oldest member of this little power rangers squad in tow.

he goes to sit on the couch next to violet, bumping his elbow into hers as a sort of "hey" and then leans forward to rest his elbows on his knees. there's like. that chair or whatever by the end table for dirk, clementine and emily are probably sitting on their respective beds?

anyway dave kind of eyes dirk (again. this will keep happening) before going: ]

Okay. Everyone but me can role reveal if we wanna get that out of the way so we can talk information and make a plan for the week based on, y'know, what we can do. Everyone but Dirk [ nods to ] knows what I am, anyway, and he can't know from my mouth 'till tomorrow so we can test a thing. Y'all can mention whatever, though...

That's a neat item, Dirk. I'm [ she sort of hesitates glancing at dave because. why are they testing a thing WHATEVER OK... ] the Bomber, and Dave's the Convict. The menu aptly described my role, and of course Dave has the skeleton key that unlocks locked doors.

ELECTRICAL ROOM: Helpfully labeled as the Electrical Room, this location is CURRENTLY LOCKED.
EXECUTIVE SUITE: Helpfully labeled as the Executive Suite, this location is CURRENTLY LOCKED.
GAME ROOM: Helpfully labeled as the Game Room, this location is CURRENTLY LOCKED.
STORAGE: Helpfully labeled as the Storage, this location is CURRENTLY LOCKED.
DISPOSAL ROOM: Helpfully labeled as the Disposal Room, this location is CURRENTLY LOCKED.

CITY HALL: mayor's office, conference room, public archives.

HUNTING LODGE: 1 locked room
LOCKED BUILDING: With no handy dandy billboard or sign to indicate what this building might have once been, residents will be left wondering what lays beyond its closed doors and boarded up windows. Unfortunately, with no indication of it ever opening by itself, this building is CURRENTLY LOCKED.

I think the archives or the mayor's office is the best bet for info, but I'm willin' to take opinions.

But I also want into the locked room of the hunting lodge. There were guns there, so maybe there's ammunition? I'd feel a lot better if I had a better weapon...

But I guess that doesn't help solve anything. [ hrm. she doesn't want to detract from group efforts and learning just for the comfort. ]

Do you think you'll need assistance breaking in? Or a lookout, if it's during the day?

If you're breaking in without your roles, maybe you should see if anyone outside of this group wants to go with. Strength in numbers and all that.

If we break in, everyone else would be able to go check it out anyway, so it's not like we're losing a secret or anything.

Do you think we can take a picture of Ghosts?

I'm not sure. So far, I took pictures of Craftly, the Dark Room, the toy machine, the jukebox, and an exterior on a burning building. [He seems mildly annoyed because] I did that first Sunday, since the rules said it'd roll over Monday, but apparently that didn't count for the first Monday. [HE IS STILL OFFENDED BY THIS.]

Maybe if someone isn't who they are and we know, we can take a picture of them and the special camera will show us who it really is! [She's sorry about your trickery.] That's okay.

I didn't have anyone to talk to but the Innkeeper since no one had died yet.

That's probably a good safeguard for those with items.

Yeah. I wanna know exactly how far that safeguard goes, since apparently at least one role can bodysnatch and use 'em freestyle. Which, by the way, means I want to use my shit tomorrow and get the useage out of the way.

That's... probably a good idea, just to be safe. I still don't understand how that works, them using an item they shouldn't even know about, but I guess we'll find out if we ever find the Ghost.

Honestly, their skill is the one I'd want to copy the most.

Maybe take them out, just so we don't have to worry about anyone else getting to make use of it.

We'd have to pick someone to either frame or lynch if we did it outside of a trial.

[Why is he so okay with murder also? Look Clem gets it. Postapocalyptic life.]

It'd be killing two people at minimum, so we'd need a good second to take out with the Ghost.

It's a powerful one, for sure. Just based on the menu, some seem more powerful than others.

Normally I'd say we should avoid hurting anyone, but... the Ghost already proved they're willing to kill people using their skill. Only a week in. That sounds like a dangerous person to let run free.

Jay told Jake he confirmed with Hana that she didn't tell anyone at all, and she'd have no reason to lie at that point since she'd just be protecting her killer. There could be somethin' I'm missin', but it confirms that the Ghost can see the item of whoever they take over.

The question at that point to me is if it knew she'd have a weapon. Fifteen minutes isn't a long time to commit a murder of opportunity. It's possible, obviously, but it's worrying if it wasn't just opportunity.

I hadn't thought of that. The longer you wait to use a skill or item, the more chance the ghost has to use it for you. Ugh.

Unless the usage resets for them, which would be...super unfortunate.

As it is, I'd just prefer to try to burn the use beforehand, just in case it doesn't reset.
