WEEK ONE: THURSDAY MORNING
[ so, dave wants to broach the topic of a Team with clementine again and has chosen thursday to do it. he'll flag her down the first time he sees her and looks...mostly fine...except a finger on each hand has a splint/is wrapped in the way one would do when they are broken. for the record this is his left pointer finger and his right pinky.

[ good question and it makes dave freeze because he still doesn't know the answer to it, even as he licks his lips. ]
I don't...know. [ because yeah, the strifing with broken bones was a thing and he'd been flippant when he said it but. ] Things are...complicated.
[ how do you trust someone you've known for barely a week who looks and sounds just like the guy who abused you for thirteen years? how do you believe he won't throw you to the wolves for anyone else at all, because you've never mattered to the person he used to be? dave hasn't figured that one out just yet. ]
