I wonder. Is this what a superhero's teenage years are like? I begin to understand why comic books are filled with so much angst.

It's like. Marginally better. I suppose I will concede to having a case of teenage drama, so long as we ban angst from our personal lexicon.

Definitely. Then a quarter, or perhaps more, it should be. I have no idea what comic books actually cost. I suspect more than a quarter though. That seems a bit old fashioned, does it not?

Uh...I don't know, I actually do not buy them really? I like absorb them through the internet, that's about it.

I see. This is the phenomena called a "Webcomic," is it not? I don't know those quite as much, but are they not the birthing grounds of future artists?

That or like, just hearin' about print comic canons via the internet, you know how it is.

Ah yes, spoilers. I try to avoid them in the rare cases where I wish to see a film or read a book. It's no fun when someone ruins the ending.

I guess I'm like immune to them at this point. Or rather, I spend too much time online to even care when it happens.

mmm, I am not quite so "Fortunate." They're still occasionally very new to me, but I really don't go online that much.

Easily. I'm quite the avid reader, and home schooling and tending a vineyard takes up quite a bit of time when you're busy. It's not that bad, and you don't ever get rickrolled.

But you know what rickrollin' is, so you must've gotten rickrolled at least once, right?

...yes, yes, I have. Once or twice. [She made a face.] It is not an experience I enjoyed after the first time.

It was a little funny the first time, though I had no idea why it was happening.

I think most memes happen without people really knowin' why they happen, honestly. It's kind of how they work?

I'm not really familiar with that sort of thing, so I will have to take your word for it, Dave. It's a bit outside of my understanding. I only know of memes as 'silly thing on the internet.'

They're just...things that are funny, you know?

[She nodded briefly and shrugged.] I understand that. I guess that I simply don't understand where they come from. I'm a bit more used to someone intentionally making funny things? So it's usually not too random.

I dunno if my stuff is like...intentionally funny? I find it amusin', but not a lot of other people do. But I think maybe that's part of the cool thing about the internet? Not everyone has to give a fuck what you do or why you do it.

Hmmm, I suppose so. It's sort of hard to predict. So I guess that's why it can be hard to tell. Maybe I'll understand it better eventually, no? The longer I am on the internet at least.
