[In a way, John's always been aware of the fact that they both work and have different wants in mind when it comes to things like this. His heartbeat's a little faster than usual under Dave's hand and his movements of his hands are slow and lazy and appreciative more than anything. He's always been aware that there's something else in this for Dave than what John projects, aware that there's want on both sides but that it means something a little different even if he doesn't fully understand what kind of different it is. His mouth doesn't pull away and he slows the kiss down to take his time to appreciate Dave being here and letting him in and he finds himself melting a little further under his hands.
